- Civil Judge – 320
(33 Regular & 287 Ad-hoc) - District Judge – 40
(15 Regular & 25 ad-hoc)
Eligibility Conditions:
Candidates should completed his/her Law Graduation in following term.
Civil Judge – Max Age limit is 35 years. Degree in Law and must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil/ Criminal Jurisdiction. Applicant who have passed the Degree in Law from the academic year 2009-2010 and onwards must have passed the All India Bar Examination, for eligible as a Practicing Advocate. OR Must have experience/ worked in Courts or other allied departments for at least 5years and must possess Degree in Law (Special) from a University recognized by law in India.
District Judge – Max Age limit is 25-48 years. Degree in Law and must be a practicing Advocate in Courts of Civil/ Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for submission of Online Applications and must have experience/ practiced for a period not less than 7years.
Pay-Scale:
Salary in Gujarat High Court for the given posts is as follows -
Civil Judge – Rs.27,700-44,850/- Plus Allowances
District Judge – Rs.51,650-63,260/-
Application Fee:
Rs.500/- for District Judge & Rs.250/- for Civil Judge fee is to be paid by SC/ ST/ EBC/ PH candidates.
All Others : Rs.1000/- for District Judge and Rs.500/- for Civil Judge.
Note: Fees has to be paid on name of Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Sola, Ahmedabad in SBI A/c No. 30725811785.
