The UP ITI Merit List 2023 has been released on the official website of the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Uttar Pradesh. The list is available in PDF format and can be downloaded by candidates who have applied for admission to ITI courses in Uttar Pradesh.
The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in their 10th standard examinations. The candidates who have scored the highest marks in their 10th standard examinations will be placed at the top of the merit list.
The merit list is divided into two categories, namely General and Reserved. The candidates who belong to the reserved categories will be given preference over the candidates who belong to the General category.
The merit list is valid for the first round of admissions to ITI courses in Uttar Pradesh. The candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list will be called for counselling. The counselling process will be held at the designated centres in Uttar Pradesh.
The following are the steps on how to check the UP ITI Merit List 2023:
- Visit the official website of SCVT, Uttar Pradesh at www.scvtup.in.
- Click on the "ITI Merit List" link.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Click on the "Submit" button.
- The merit list will be displayed on the screen.
The candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list must attend the counselling process. The counselling process will be held on the dates and time as mentioned in the merit list.
The following documents are required for the counselling process:
- Original 10th standard certificate
- Original caste certificate (if applicable)
- Two passport size photographs
- Self-attested copies of all the documents
The candidates who have been allotted a seat in an ITI course must pay the admission fee within the stipulated time. The admission fee is non-refundable.
The merit list for the second round of admissions will be released after the first round of counselling is completed.
