Educational Qualification:
- National Eligibility Test (Net) - A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the respective Discipline and specialization completed on or before 30.09.2023.
- Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6) - Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization as defined in Annexure-V and VI, completed on or before 10.04.2023.
- Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) - Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization as defined in Annexure-V and IX, completed on or before 10.04.2023.
Age Limit:
- National Eligibility Test (Net) - A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.01.2023.
- Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6) - A candidate seeking admission to the SMS (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on 10.04.2023.
- Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) - A candidate seeking admission to the STO (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on 10.04.2023.

- Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6) - Pay Band – 3 of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with GP of Rs 5400/- (revised Pay Level 10 - Rs 56,100 – 1,77,500 of the 7th CPC), based on their choice of ‘Location of KVK with Institute’ opted while filling the online application.
- Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) - Pay Band – 3 of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with GP of Rs 5400/- (revised Pay Level 10 - Rs 56,100 – 1,77,500 of the 7th CPC), based on the Institute of their choice opted while filling the online application.
