✅ Eligibility Criteria – Local Bank Officer (JMGS I)
Educational Qualification (as on 01.04.2026):
Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Additional Requirement: Working knowledge of the local language of the state/UT for which the candidate is applying (ability to read, write, and speak the local language is mandatory).
Experience (Lateral Entry):
Minimum 18 Months of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / Regional Rural Bank / Cooperative Bank / Financial Institution. Experience in customer service, branch operations, or credit is preferred.
Computer Proficiency:
Basic knowledge of computer operations (MS Office, internet banking, etc.) is mandatory.
💰 Salary & Contract Details – JMGS I Scale

📌 Selection Process – PSB LBO Recruitment 2026
- Online Written Exam (Objective Type): Professional Knowledge, Banking Awareness, Reasoning, English, and Computer Aptitude.
- Local Language Proficiency Test: To verify working knowledge of the state language.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from written exam will be called for interview.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination.
📝 Exam Pattern: Total 150 questions (2 hours). Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
